Description
A great example of abstract design, this small "Flair" pattern Edwin M. Knowles bowl instills a sense of withdrawal from the obvious with its strong usage of lines and shapes. Two black dotted lines float above the 7" x 6.75" wide bowl and between three small black triangles, each composed of smaller dots. Its non-representational style - lacking an accurate representation of visual reality - leans into its use of form and texture to craft that subjective and abstract vibe. There's some crazing on the underside of the bowl, but not in the interior where a few to be expected utensil marks can be found. Aside from a small pin hole (please see pics) on the exterior, there are no chips or cracks to be found and hand washing the item is recommended. ***Hello Shopper With Discerning Taste!*** Thanks so much for checking out BricABracBrigade! As you’re here, you obviously love vintage goodies as much as I (I already know I like you!) and that you appreciate how these treasures have stood the test of time. As such, my items bare wear consistent with age - rarely is something decades old ever pristine (myself included!), however I strive to highlight any flaws or blemishes via descriptions and photos. If anything has been inadvertently overlooked, please contact me! While all sales are final and items sold as is, please reach out with any additional questions or issues before purchasing or upon receipt of your goodies as keeping my customers happy makes me happy.
