This Solido Jeep in Livery of Royal Air Force Airfield "Follow Me" Guide Car is approximately 3 1/4" Long x 1 1/4" Wide x 1 5/8" High. Jeep is colored army " green ". Solido Jeep in Livery of Royal Air Force Airfield "Follow Me" Guide Car comes with a Limited Edition Certificate No. 551 of 780. It is one of "Peace in Europe" range of vehicles used in Liberation Campaign leading to end of hostilities in May 1945. This Jeep used by Royal Air Force on a captured German airfield after being re-opened for air traffic. It is a guide car that met an incoming plane on a runaway and led way to a dispersal area. Chequered pattern on upper and rear surfaces was to make vehicle more visible and to identify it as a "Follow Me" car. Since this Solido military vehicle is built on a tank chassis it will stay in great condition for decades to come.
