Description

This vintage decorative bowl is clean and in good condition with no chips, cracks or damage. There is a small area of paint loss on the image, beside the lower branches of the tree (please see last photo for a close-up) and the gilding on the rim of the bowl is worn. The white ceramic bowl is marked "Hand Painted, Nippon" on the underside. It has a hand painted image of a blossoming purple and white pansy with a tree in the background. The flower has gilt detailing around the petals. The Nippon bowl is 5 1/4" wide and 1 1/4" deep. It weighs 4.3oz (122g).
